Start Up Slam – Louisville

Bringing Louisville and Lexington Entrepreneurs Together

To Build a Stronger Tech Community!

 

When: 5.30 PM Wednesday, August 3rd

Where: Bourbon Barrel Loft, Bluegrass Brewing Company,

300 W. Main St., Louisville

What:

Lexington entrepreneurs are going to descend on Louisville for the first of what we plan to be many exchanges.  We’re moving our August Lexmark / IN2LEX | Startup Advantage meeting and combining it with the Louisville Startup Slam event hosted by KSTC.

We’re going to do it in style!  We’re renting a bus to transport the Lexington entourage.  Beverages will be provided for the journey.  We’re planning to leave around 4pm (details to follow) and should be back before 10pm.  There’s only 24  (sold out so we upgraded!) 45 slots on the bus so you better grab your spot today!

 

Cash Bar and Appetizers will be provided at the event in Louisville.

Our full line up of innovators starts with Paul Borgman, the CEO of Smoothstone Communications. Paul co-founded Smoothstone in 2000 and recently navigated it to a $120 million sale to West Corporation. Come here Paul’s amazing story and what he learned.

In addition, we will have two smaller presentations by Jeff Fedor, Co-CEO, of ParkVu a mobile music company and David Lewis, CEO of BoardMemberConnect.com. Both will be presenting there products, and David is even coming in from California!

If that’s not enough to get your innovation and startup engines going, the night will be closing with a musical performance by Nerves Junior (let’s call it creative innovation)!
